"Smoke & Mirrors" is the fifth album by rapper O.C. of the D.I.T.C. crew and the second album he released in 2005. It is also notable for being O.C.'s only release on the Oakland, California based Hieroglyphics Imperium label. The album features no guest appearances (just an all-out, solo barrage from O.C.) and is fully produced by Mike Loe from The Bronx (previously known for his work with Lord Finesse, Ill Biskits, CL Smooth and others) with the exception of the track "I'm Da Boss" which is produced by The Fyre Department (a group of musicians including Eric Krasno, Adam Deitch, Rashawn Ross and Eric Coomes). In the album, O.C. reflects on himself, his family, broken love and much on the workings and shadiness in the music business.
